The Mustangs had an 8-run third inning, propelling them to the eventual 10-run mercy rule after four and a half innings. Head coach Maggie Sharrer was impressed with the team’s performance.
(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The 2017 Spring Football season has officially begun. Voluntary conditioning began on April 10 and is scheduled for 2:30-3:30 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays in the weight room. The conditioning will consist of lots of running and drills on the football field.

His dream crashed when he was injured, but soon ended up on top with a different plan. Rivera has been running for seven years, so he could stay in shape for soccer.
(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – Mustang athletes broke two school records, the 800-meter and 4×800 meter races, at last weekend’s Florida Relays track meet at the University of Florida. LRHS senior John Rivera ran a 1:50.38, putting him at number one in school history and the current number one in the nation for the 800-meter race.
(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – Mustangs have an opportunity to help the school and the community while taking a chance on a college scholarship at the eighth annual Take Stock in Children fundraising 5K and 10K races. The events are scheduled for at 8 a.m. on Sunday, March 5 at Lakewood Ranch Main Street. A four-year college scholarship is being offered from Take Stock Manatee to one lucky student at LRHS.
(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The 2017 track season officially began on Jan 23. Many student athletes are excited for the season and have high expectations for themselves and their teams. The first meet takes place 3:30 p.m., Feb. 9 at the Manatee High School track. The girls team won the 2016 Class 4A team championship, so they are looking for another successful season.

This year he has expanded his coaching talents to young student athletes overseas. On Dec. 26, 2016, Napier boarded a plane for South Korea.
